Welcome Tessa!
We’re really excited to welcome Tessa to our team! Here is a little bit about Tessa:
Tessa graduated as a physio from the University of South Australia in 2016. She has worked in a variety of sectors including Aged Care, Disability and private practice. She has a strong interest in post-illness rehabilitation, and also enjoys providing assessment and training in manual handling and falls prevention in the elderly.
Growing up in the multicultural city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, she also learned to speak Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin, and Cantonese. In her free time, Tessa enjoys going for outdoor runs, playing badminton, practicing yoga and learning to play the guitar and bass (thanks YouTube!)
“I believe everyone deserves to live independently and participate in activities that bring meaning and joy regardless of age or level of disability. This motivates me to help clients reach their goals whilst staying healthy in the mind and body. I like to help clients by adopting a patient and empathetic approach”
